Oil is the lifeblood of your engine, don’t trust it to a cheap paper element oil filter! The NRHS Hurricane Oil Filter cleans your oil to an absolute 35 micron size, below the limit of human visibility and only slightly bigger than a white blood cell. Unlike a paper filter, this is an absolute filtration spec, meaning nothing larger than this should pass through the filter (paper elements are rated on an average or percent of efficiency, meaning they can and do pass much larger particles). The integrated magnet further enhances the filtration capabilities of the most abrasive ferrous particles. The medical grade stainless mesh is 100% cleanable and  flows more than 7 times more oil for the same time period as a paper element, ensuring that even during cold startup with heavy oil your engine is getting filtered oil. Tested to 1500psi, the heavy duty case is polished to a beautiful finish and the aluminum finned construction assists with heat dissipation.. For STD/S&S XL Cases (Evo XL 4-speed)

Upgrading to a set of S&S or STD cases on your XL or Buell? Then you need this piece. It replaces the factory 4-speed mount which is no longer available from HD. Beautifully machined from a solid chunk of 6061T6 aluminum, this filter mount looks as good as it works. The factory bypass valve that dumps excess oil into the cam box has been eliminated on this piece since modern filters are all equipped with their own bypass valve. Uses the standard Evo or Twin Cam oil filter element. Includes check valve and oil filter fitting. 1/8-NPT inlet and oil pressure sender, 1/4-NPT outlet.

Staying with your stock type filter? You can greatly increase it's effectiveness with the addition of a FilterMag. A FilterMag gives you cleaner oil and less loading of the filter element with the type of sharp, abrasive particles that tend to cut through it.
